Jon Howes finished first for the Mountaineers and 16th overall in the hammer throw with a throw of 149-3.0, while Nathan Milch placed first for App and 16th overall in the shot put, throwing a distance of 46-11.50.
Isaiah Relliford notched a top-ten finish for the Mountaineers on Friday as he placed seventh in the triple jump event with a mark of 44-5.25.
The Wake Forest Open continues on Saturday.
