BOONE, N.C. – With the regular season approaching fast, appstatesports.com will begin to highlight members of the 2013 Appalachian State University men's soccer squad in a series called Extra Time. This will give fans an inside look at some of their favorite Mountaineers before starting the regular season on Aug. 30 at home against Marshall.

The first player profile of the series focuses on senior defender Kojo Thompson. As one of the veteran leaders, Thompson will help anchor what is expected to be a strong backline for App State.
