BOONE, N.C.- Appalachian State University women's soccer senior Lindsay Jaffe has been recognized as
an first-team all-American by the Jewish Sports Review, as
announced by the organization in its bi-monthly publication.
Jaffe was the only Southern Conference student-athlete to be
tabbed for the squad.
Jaffe appeared in 62 career matches, earning the start in 53
of those matches. Jaffe was a defensive catalyst for the Mountaineers all four
seasons in Boone. She tallied five assists for five points and took two shots
for Appalachian.
The Mountaineers ended the season with a 5-8-4 record in
head coach Sarah Strickland's first season at the helm.
