Lynsey Daughtry was the hero for Radford as she tallied two goals in the
first half, including the first goal only 1 minute, 9 seconds into the match.
Junior Bridgette Street was under constant pressure the whole match and recorded 10 saves on the day. Her efforts put her seven saves away from surpassing Chelsea Dailey for fifth on ASU's career saves list.
Kelly Allaband scored the lone Appalachian goal in the 63rd minute by redirecting Lauren Kloeppinger's shot. The goal is Allaband's second on the season, and its Kloeppinger's team-leading fifth assist.
