BOONE, N.C. - As Southern Conference play resumes this week for Appalachian State University men's basketball, so does Mountaineer Talk, as the show will be live from Beef 'O' Brady's on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Join the “Voice of the Mountaineers” David Jackson and head coach Buzz Peterson on Tuesday night at Beef 'O' Brady's in Boone for Mountaineer Talk, the Appalachian ISP Sports Network's weekly radio call-in show. Mountaineer Talk airs live from Beef 'O' Brady's (located in the Watauga Village Shopping Center on Blowing Rock Road) every Tuesday at 7 p.m.

As always, Jackson and Coach Peterson will be on hand live to recap the non-conference portion of the schedule, preview the upcoming conference season and answer questions from fans gathered at Beef 'O' Brady's and listening around the world.

Fans that can't be on hand at Beef 'O' Brady's can tune in to the hour-long show on the following Appalachian ISP Sports Network affiliates: flagship station WKBC 97.3 FM (North Wilkesboro, Hickory, Charlotte, High Country), WATA 1450 AM (Boone), WDNC 620 AM (Durham) and WHKP 1450 AM (Hendersonville), as well as on tape delay at 6 p.m. Friday on WPCM 920 AM (Burlington). The Mountaineers return to action on Wednesday as the squad welcomes The Citadel to the Holmes Center for the only meeting this season.

Southern Conference Tournament Information Available

For the first time since 1999, the Southern Conference Tournament returns to North Carolina, as Charlotte plays host to this year's event, March 4-8. The men's and women's squads will compete for the league title and a bid to the NCAA Tournament at the Bojangles Coliseum in the opening rounds and quarterfinals, while the semifinals and Championship will be held at Time Warner Cable Arena.

Tournament passes and single-session tickets go on sale through the ASU Athletics Ticket Office at 8 a.m. on January 11.
