DAVIDSON, N.C. ? Friday's opener of this weekend's Southern Conference baseball series between Appalachian State and Davidson has been postponed due to rain.

The clubs will play the first game of the three-game set on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Davidson's Wilson Field and conclude the series with a doubleheader on Sunday. The time of Sunday's first pitch has yet to be determined.
