BOONE, N.C. -- Appalachian State field hockey returns to action Saturday, traveling to Farmville, Va. to meet the Longwood Lancers in a critical NorPac East division game.

The two teams enter Saturday's game tied for second place in the East division with a 1-1 mark in conference play. The Mountaineers and the Lancers have both defeated Davidson and lost to Radford.

Longwood is led offensively by sophomore forward Olga Knop, who has three goals on the season, and senior midfielder Julia Hernandez with three goals.
