NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - Three Appalachian State University men's basketball players were named to the Southern Conference All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of the tournament Saturday evening. Donte Minter (Salisbury, N.C.) earned first team honors after averaging 16 points and five rebounds in his two games at the North Charleston Coliseum. Demetrius Scott (Orlando, Fla.) and Jeremy Clayton (Greensboro, N.C.) both earned second-team selections. Clayton, who was also a second-team selection a year ago, averaged 11 points and eight rebounds while shooting 62.5 percent from the field. Scott garnered his first honor with 14.5 points per game in the tourney after scoring 20 points in ASU's semifinal loss to College of Charleston.
