Rayna Williams joined App State Athletics in June 2025 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for women's basketball. 

Prior to joining the Mountaineers, Williams was an athletic trainer at the University of Southern California, where she worked with the men's and women's water polo teams for the 2024-25 season. She also served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for a middle school and high school in San Marcos, Texas.

Williams graduated from LSU with a Bachelor of Science in athletic training in 2022 and earned a Master's of Science in strength & conditioning and sport coaching from Texas State in 2024. She is a National Athletic Trainers' Association member, Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) and BOC Certified Athletic Trainer.

A native of Long Beach, Calif., Williams resides in Boone and enjoys spending time outdoors. She also enjoys hiking, spending time with friends, cooking, and reading.
