Ethan Bumgarner joined App State Athletics in October 2023 as a Strategic Communications Assistant and moved into his current role as Assistant Director Stadium Experience/ Revenue Generation in July 2024.
 
A May 2023 graduate of App State, Bumgarner previously served as a student worker for the communications department, primarily assisting with game coverage of baseball and softball. He also contributed to the game operations department following graduation.
 
Originally from Taylorsville, N.C., Bumgarner now lives in Boone, N.C. with his wife, Rebecca, and their dog Sophie. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and watching sports on TV.
