Christina Gandolfo joined App State Athletics in Sept. 2025 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for volleyball. 

Gandolfo is a Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT), BOC Certified Athletic Trainer, a member of the National Athletic Trainer Association (NATA) and a member of the Professional Hockey Athletic Trainers Society (PHATS).

Prior to finishing her graduate degree and joining the Mountaineers, Gandolfo worked with South Florida football, volleyball, along with Clemson football and recently finished her term with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Gandolfo graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor of Health Science in 2022 and earned a Master's of Science in athletic training from South Florida in 2025. 

A native of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Gandolfo resides in Boone and enjoys exploring new cities, coffee shops, going to sporting events and being active.
