Biography

2012-13: Finished 2-7 in three tournament appearances ... competed for AppStateRTC during the summer and earned All-American honors at University Nationals in Akron, Ohio by placing sixth in the Greco Roman competition. 

2011-12: Finished 4-8 in four tournament appearances … went 2-2 at Keystone Classic with wins over opponents from American and Boston U.

2010-11: Posted 7-3 tournament record, 7-4 overall … first career pin and win was over Central Florida’s Ashton Griffin (2:25) at The Citadel Open.

Lassiter: Wrestled four years at Lassiter High School for Steve Day … Two-time state placer and state champion in the 125-pound weight class … Placed sixth at the Fargo Nationals.

Personal: Son of Steve Pifer and Kari Hunter … has two siblings, Camdyn and Bryson … majoring in chemistry with minor in Spanish.
