Valerie Morgan joined the App State Sports Medicine Staff in June 2022 as an athletic trainer for the cross-country and track and field programs.
 
Morgan is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer, NCBATE Licensed Athletic Trainer, and a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association. 
 
Morgan attended the University of Alabama, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2020. Her clinical exposures through the University of Alabama's program included: men's basketball, baseball, football, among others. She continued her education at West Virginia University, where she completed a two-year graduate assistant program with the track and field and cross-country teams, while earning her master’s degree in Sports Management. 
 
Originally from Arab, Ala., she now resides in Boone, NC.
