2011 - Senior:  Received a medical-redshirt due to a season-ending shoulder injury ... appeared in six contests, including four starts ... knocked her lone hit against Texas Tech (Feb. 13) ... tallied three putouts in her shortened season.

2010 - Junior: Competed in all 52 games, starting 51 ... batted .247 for the season ... had 36 hits, including seven for extra bases and had seven RBI ... scored 13 runs and nine multiple-hit games ...  named to 2010 SoCon academic honor roll.

2008-09 - Heartland Community College: Helped the team to a third-place finish in the NJCAA (National Junior College Athletics Association) in 2008 and a national championship in 2009.

High School: Earned all-conference and all-area honors as a junior and senior.

Personal: Daughter of John and Christine Gorzelle ... born April 11 ... one sister, Stephanie ... majoring in health promotions.
