2017: Saw action in four games for the Black & Gold as a freshman … made her first-career start at second base on May 5 at Coastal Carolina … scored one run in a 9-2 win over UMBC (Feb. 19).

High School: Attended West Wilkes High School … accumulated a batting average of .551, an on base percentage of .600, a slugging percentage of .842 and a fielding percentage of .917, and amassed 34 RBI … four-time letterwinner in softball and volleyball and three-time letterwinner in basketball … earned All-State and All-Conference honors her sophomore, junior and senior year … was crowned All-Conference Player of the Year as a senior … was selected to the All-District team for three consecutive years and the All-Conference Tournament team for four straight years … was her team’s MVP her junior and senior year.

Personal: Daughter of Michelle and Andrew Shepherd … sister of John Andrew Shepherd … born on September 24, 1998 (18 years old) … a special education major.
