  • Posted a pair of top eight finishes in the 400-meter dash st the Chanticleer Challenge (50.06; third) and Charlotte Invitational (51.02; seventh)

  • Won the 400-meter dash CAP 8 conference championship in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.49 seconds
  • Went on to post a PR in the 400-meter dash of 49.60 seconds in the prelims of the North Carolina USATF JO Championships – Region 16 and went on to finish sixth in the finals 
  • Qualified for the NCHSAA State Championships in the 500-meter run during the 2017-18 indoor season
