• Ran a personal best in the 3,000m and finished seventh at the Liberty Quad with a time of 8:57.14

• Placed second with a time of 15:51.00 at the 2011 NCHSAA State Championship
• Won the 2011 NCHSAA 3A Midwest Regional with a time of 15:45.00 and took on the title at the prestigious Wendy’s Invitational in his senior season
• Earned a eighth-place finish in the 1,600-meters at the 2012 1A/2A/3A NCHSAA Indoor State Championships
• Finished second in the 3,200m in the 2012 3A North Carolina Outdoor State Championships, behind App State teammate Mitch McLeod
