Houston has versatility to play anywhere on the field as he plays as a defender for his club team TSC coached by Sandy Pollock and ACM for his high school under Jeff Louckes."

High School: A defender from East Bend, N.C., Comer was a four-year captain/starter playing attacking center midfield for Wilson Central High School from 2013 to 2016. Comer was named all-district tournament and all-district 2013, 2014, and 2015 having accumulated over 28 goals and 30 assists in the first three years.

As a defender with Tennessee Soccer Club he made appearances in 2013, 2014, and upcoming 2016 regional tournaments. His team won the Tennessee State Cup 2016, runner-up in 2014, 2015 and they won Premier league in 2014. Houston played in the U20 league in the summer of 2015 as outside midfielder.
