Ryan Hastings arrives to App State after helping coach Leesville Road High School in Raleigh, N.C. Hastings was a standout for App State Track and Field, where he holds the school record in the 800m with a time of 1:48.02. He finished in the top-10 in every race he participated in his senior season, while he's ranked in the top-10 all-time in the 400-meter (4th) and 800-meter dash (1st). Hastings was an NCAA Championship qualifier and member member of the 4x400-meter relay team that set a new school record with a time of 3:14.30 in 2017-18.
