Appalachian State’s most experienced offensive lineman with 39 games and 26 starts in his career ... started 24-straight games in 2012 and 2013 before settling mainly into a reserve role as a junior last season ... enters the 2015 campaign listed as the top backup behind Parker Collins at left guard but versatility and experience could lead to him seeing extensive action at several spots across the offensive front.

2014: Saw action in all 12 games, primarily as a reserve at guard ... started at left guard in the third and fourth games of the season against Georgia Southern and South Alabama before being replaced in the lineup by eventual honorable-mention all-Sun Belt Conference selection Parker Collins ... averaged nearly 42 snaps and better than two knockdowns per game over the first six games of the season ... turned in his finest performance of the season in home opener against Campbell with a 92-percent job grade and two knockdowns in 25 snaps off the bench ... recorded an 81-percent job grade in start at Georgia Southern ... had a season-high four knockdowns in start against South Alabama ... had an impressive 80-percent job grade in 35 snaps against Georgia State ... made the most of seven snaps against UL Monroe with 86-percent technique and job grades.

2012: Started all 12 games at left guard … joined center Graham Fisher as the team’s only offensive linemen to start all 12 games … earned freshman all-America recognition from College Sports Journal … named to Southern Conference’s all-freshman team … led Appalachian State with a whopping 61 knockdowns on the season … despite being one of nine offensive linemen to see action for the Mountaineers, his 61 knockdowns accounted for nearly 32 percent of the team’s total of 191 … was charged with allowing only one sack in 748 plays … dominated in the Mountaineers’ home-opening win over Montana with season-high grades (89-percent job grade, 81-percent technique grade) and nine knockdowns … recorded 11 knockdowns against The Citadel … amassed season-high 13 knockdowns in rout over Coastal Carolina.
