2013: Played in all 12 games, starting the first seven at strong safety ... despite coming off the bench for the final five games of the year, finished tied for fifth on the team with 56 tackles ... in his first-career start, made a career-best 12 tackles at Montana ... registered nine tackles the next week against North Carolina A&T, followed by two stops at Elon and 11 versus Charleston Southern, giving him 34 tackles over the first four games of the season ... also notched the first interception of his career during that stretch against N.C. A&T ... however, production waned after the initial surge and he tallied just 22 tackles over the final eight games of the campaign ... closed the season on a high note with five tackles — his most since the fourth game of the season — in season finale against Western Carolina.

2012: Appeared in all 12 games, primarily on special teams … ranked second on the squad with five special-teams tackles on the season (four in punt coverage and one on a kickoff) … the four stops on punt returns led the team … finished the campaign with nine tackles overall … was in on a tackle for loss versus The Citadel … had his best showing of the season in triumph at top-ranked Georgia Southern with a season-high three stops.

High School: Recorded 68 tackles with two sacks as a senior safety at Grimsley H.S. in Greensboro … all-area and team defensive MVP as a senior … coached by Damon Coiro.
