2014: First-team all-Sun Belt Conference honoree … started all 12 games at left tackle, protecting the blind side for right-handed quarterbacks Kameron Bryant and Sun Belt Freshman of the Year Taylor Lamb ... recorded 46 knockdowns and allowed only two sacks over a team-high 817 snaps ... graded out at 85 percent over 12 games ... graded out at 80 percent or higher in all 12 games ... three-highest knockdown totals came against three of the best defensive fronts Appalachian State faced all season – eight at UL Lafayette, six at Michigan and six at Georgia Southern ... best grade of the season (90 percent) also came at Michigan ... clear-cut leader of an offensive line that allowed only 11 sacks all season (tied for eighth among all NCAA Division I FBS teams) and rushed for 241.8 yards per game (19th among all NCAA Division I FBS teams) ... during Appalachian State’s six-game winning streak to close the regular season, the Lamm-led offensive line paved the way for the Mountaineers to rush for 1,747 yards (291.2 ypg) and allowed only one sack.

2013: Named first-team all-Southern Conference by the league’s coaches and second-team by the media ... started all 12 games at left tackle ... joined left guard Shaq Counts as the only Mountaineer offensive linemen to appear in all 12 games ... graded out at 75 percent or better in each of the final 10 graded performances of the season (grades not available for the season finale against Western Carolina) ... compiled 28 knockdowns ... was charged with allowing only one sack all season (at Furman) ... despite surrendering the sack, turned in his best performance of the year at FU with a season-best 89-percent grade and season-high-tying five knockdowns ... perhaps had an even more impressive showing at Georgia when he graded out at 86 percent with five knockdowns against the SEC defensive front ... also graded out at 86 percent in the home opener against North Carolina A&T (three knockdowns) ... earned an 85-percent grade and three knockdowns in rout over No. 24-ranked Georgia Southern ... had four knockdowns and an 83-percent grade against Charleston Southern.

2012: Started 11-of-12 games at left tackle … missed road victory at Chattanooga due to head injury sustained in practice leading up to the contest … posted the highest season-long job grade (87 percent) and technique grade (79 percent) on the team … graded out at 86 percent or higher in all but two games and did not receive a grade lower than 84 percent all season … was not charged with surrendering a sack nor did he commit a penalty all season … ranked third among Appalachian State’s offensive linemen with 672 total plays on the campaign … received 89-percent grade in four-straight games (Montana, The Citadel, Coastal Carolina and Elon) before “slipping” all the way to 88 percent in come-from-behind win at Samford … recorded a season-high five knockdowns against The Citadel and Coastal Carolina … had two knockdowns in win at top-ranked Georgia Southern.

2011: Started the first seven games of the season at left tackle as a redshirt freshman … was credited with four knockdowns in win at The Citadel ... had a dominant performance in homecoming win over Samford with 81-percent overall grade, including an outstanding 81-percent showing in run blocking and five knockdowns … sustained a freak ankle injury during walkthrough the day before the showdown with top-ranked Georgia Southern and missed the next two games due to injury … did not start but did return to action for the regular-season home finale against Western Carolina … was suspended the following week due to conduct not appropriate for an Appalachian State player and did not play in the final two games of the season.

2010: Redshirted.

High School: First-team all-state honoree as a senior ... earned all-conference recognition three times and all-Charlotte Observer honors twice ...  helped lead Butler to a 15-0 record, the school’s first state championship and a No. 2 national ranking according to PrepNation.com in 2009 ... anchored an offensive line that paved the way for the Bulldogs to average 48.4 points per game as a senior ... Butler was 49-8 during his prep career ... coached by Mike Newsome.
