2009: Played in all 14 games, mainly as a reserve tight end and one of the team’s most valuable contributors on special teams ... made two starts in two tight-end sets (vs. Chattanooga and at Elon) ... only reception of the season was a 10-yarder in rout over Georgia Southern ... made eight tackles on special teams, including two in win at Furman ... earned academic all-conference recognition for achievements on the field and in the classroom.
