Has worked hard to battle back from injuries that plagued him in 2008 ... impressed coaches in the spring and is penciled in as the backup at the Y receiver position coming into the fall.

2008 : Did not see game action due to injury.

2007 : Redshirted.

High School : Was a two-sport standout at Trinity H.S. ... earned all-area honors for his play on the gridiron ... was also an all-state performer in basketball ... coached  by Alex Mebane.

Personal : Full name is Benjamin Austin King … Born Jan. 10, 1989 (20 years old) … son of Terry and Michele King …  mother, Michele, was an all-America softball player at Liberty University … brother, Josh, played basketball at Eckerd College and East Carolina University.
