BOONE, N.C. – The App State Softball team is set to open the newly constructed Sywassink/Lloyd Family Stadium on March 21 with a series against the Georgia Southern Eagles. With the team’s home-opening series, the 2025 promotional schedule has been announced.
The Mountaineers will host four Sun Belt Conference series in 2025 and one midweek game against North Carolina Central on April 22. Reminder that all home games will be played at noon, except the March 23 game against Georgia Southern, which will be played at 11 a.m., and the April 22 game against N.C. Central, which is still to be determined.
The 2025 promotional schedule is highlighted by Alumni Weekend (March 21-23), 90’s Day (April 5) and First Responder Appreciation Day (April 11), among several other themes. Fans can experience every theme day in full at Sywassink/Lloyd Family Stadium as admission to every home softball game is
free.
Along with theme days, there will be several giveaways for fans to enjoy throughout the season, which include T-shirts, posters and snow cones. Kids will also get the chance to run the bases after select home games.

First year head coach Whitney Jones’ squad is poised to bring lots of excitement to the High Country this season, so come out and support the App State Softball team all season long!
