Appalachian State Athletics Compliance • Prospective Student-Athletes

Prospective Student-Athletes
A prospective student-athlete must be certified as a qualifier by the NCAA Eligibility Center in order to participate in athletics for Appalachian State as a freshman. The first step in this process is registering with the NCAA Eligibility Center. Registration is mandatory. In fact, a student-athlete cannot go on any official visits or even be issued a National Letter of Intent (NLI) until he/she registers.

For your convenience, here are some helpful links with tips and checklists to guide you on your path to Division I college athletics.
