2005-06: Wrestled in the Keystone Classic and Carolina Open, going 1-2 and 2-2 respectively ... went 1-1 at the NC State Duals.

High School: Twice named to all-state team, in 2003 and 2004 ... four-time all-conference ... four-time wrestling MVP ... ended his career at East Mecklenburg with a 171-25 record... lettered in football, cross country, track and field and wrestling
