2017
Singles – Fall: Had an impressive fall with five victories and an appearance in the 49ers Fall Invitational Finals… defeated opponents from such schools such as Davidson and Troy … advanced to the 2016 ITA Regional Championships Round of 64 … Spring: One of four athletes on the team to notch at least 10 victories in singles action … Tied for third on the team with 12 victories with 10 of his wins coming in at the No. 3 spot … put together a 7-1 stretch at the end of the season highlighted by a four-match win streak for his best tennis of the season … won double-digit matches all four seasons … contributed to the first-ever Mountaineer Cup, exemplifying the core values at Appalachian State ... helped App State post back-to-back winning seasons for the first time since 2011-12 ... played an instrumental role in the Mountaineers boasting a 62-47 (.569) mark.
Doubles – Fall: Went 5-2 in doubles play during the fall with Milo Bargeron and Alex Pavkovich … advanced to the semifinals at the Seahawk Invitational and the 49ers Fall Invite … made it to the Round of 32 at the 2016 ITA Regional Championship … Spring: Tied for second with 12 overall doubles wins … his eight wins with Jack Maddocks was second on the team while the .800 winning percentage (8-2) … won six-straight matches and posted an 8-1 record over nine matches … had wins over opponents such as Mercer (3/11), Winthrop (2/26) and Gardner-Webb (4/10) ... contributed to the Black and Golf finishing 32-20 (.615).
2016
Singles -- Fall: Picked up two wins including a round of 16 victory in the Winthrop Fall Invitational over Asdrubal Marcano ... Spring: notched a career mark of 11 wins for the fourth best on the squad ... went 7-2 when playing as the No. 6 in the lineup ... finished off the season on a strong mark where he was 6-1 in his last seven matches ... his three-match win streak was a season best.
Doubles -- Fall:Competed in three doubles matches in the fall ... picked up a win with Zachary Bost in the Jeff Frank/Davidson College Invitational against South Carolina Upstate’s Rajanvir Dhami and Lenhard Haupt ... Spring: Won 10 matches with Zachary Bost, nine of which came as the No. 3 tandem in the lineup ... went on an 8-1 stretch where it saw a five-match win streak.
2015
Singles -- Boasted a solid 13-8 record in his first season with the Mountaineers while playing in the four and five spot … Won eight of his last 10 matches to end the season … Went 9-4 in straight set matches … Ran a career-high three-match win streak from 4/5-4/11.
Doubles -- Finished 8-6 with partner Oliver Casey en route to earning a second team doubles All-Sun Belt award … Went 3-2 with Jan-Willem Kleyhnahs and 0-1 with Steve Lake, equaling a 11-9 mark through the season.
HIGH SCHOOL
Earned first team all-region honors three-straight times (2011-13) .... was an Athens Banner Herald all-area Player of the Year twice (2011, 2013) ... was undefeated as both a sophomore (21-0) and senior (26-0) at No. 1 singles ... ranked as high as No. 32 in the ITA Boys 18 Southern Region rankings ... as an all-region MVP from 2011-13 ... earned team MVP honors all four years of high school ... led Madison County to the state finals as a senior ... also served as team captain his final year.
