Singles -- Fall: Won five matches in singles play ... endured a four-match win streak, all of which came at the Winthrop Fall Invitational advancing to the Semifinals .... defeated fellow teammate Alex Brea in the WFI Semifinals ... Spring: earned eight wins in his final season as a Mountaineer  where six of his victories came in the four position ... best stretch came when JW went 3-1 over a four-match streak ... seven of his losses came in three sets.

Doubles -- Fall: Dominated doubles play with Scott Webster going 5-0 in the fall campaign, winning the Winthrop Fall Invitational doubles bracket ... Spring: continued his dominating play with Webster in the spring with a team-best 13-3 mark (6-2 at the No. 1/7-1 at the No. 2) ... their exceptional play led to a second team all-Sun Belt Doubles nod ... ran off an eight-match win streak over a 9-1 stretch ... regionally ranked 10th in the ITA Carolina Regional Rankings.

2015
Single -- Fall:Picked up a three-set win over USC Upstate’s Pedro Carvalho (9/28) … Spring: Came away with eight victories at the four, five and six spot during the season … Went 4-1 for his best stretch of the season … Had three different two match win streaks.

Doubles -- Fall:Earned two victories in the fall with Robert Jenkins at the Jim Causey & Jeff Frank Invite ... Spring: Recorded six wins at the third and first spot, partnering with Trey Morris and Zach Bost, respectively.

2014
Singles
Finished with a record of 9-4 while playing primarily at the No. 6 spot (8-3) but also made two appearances at No. 5 (1-1) and compiled a 6-2 record in SoCon play ... earned wins over two opponents from nationall-ranked teams (No. 44 UNC Wilmington and No. 54 Elon) ... posted two four-match winning streaks during the season.
Doubles
Played mostly at No. 3 doubles with Steve Lake (2-5) but also moved to No. 2 with Lake (0-1) and played at No. 3 with Jack Maddocks (0-1).

2013
Singles
Completed his freshman campaign with a 6-8 record, playing primarily at the No. 5 spot (5-5) ... earned a 5-5 mark in SoCon singles action ... recorded a 6-2, 7-6 win over No. 73-ranked East Tennessee State
Doubles
Went 8-9 overall, including a 6-6 record at with partner Andrew McKinnon, primarily at the No. 2 position ... also finished 2-1 in doubles action playing with Steve Lake ... topped No. 74-ranked SoCon foe Samford, 8-3, at No. 2 with Andrew McKinnon.

HIGH SCHOOL
Was ranked in the top-10 in South Africa at the U14, U16 and U18 levels ... played in the semifinals of singles and finals of doubles at the 2011 South Africa Junior National Tournament ... ranked as high as No. 4 in South Africa in the U18 ranks ... finished unbeaten during the 2011 season.
