Singles - Fall: Had a substantial fall where she finished 7-3 highlighted by a four-match win streak … advanced to the finals in her flight at the Wake Forest Invitational, defeating opponents from Elon and Charlotte … went undefeated at the Spartan Classic Invite against Presbyterian, Campbell, and UNCG … Spring: Tied for third on the team with a career-high nine singles wins and a 9-6 record in the lineup as the 4,5,6 … won a personal-high five straight contests … went on a stretch she captured eight out of nine affairs … claimed a victory in conference play over eventual Sun Belt Tournament champion, Georgia State … played a pivotal role in the Black and Gold going from 5-19 in ‘17 to 11-11 and coming away with its first Sun Belt Tournament win over No. 10 seed Texas State.Â
Doubles - Fall: Put forth a solid 7-2 effort during the fall with Taylor Bygrave … advanced to the quarterfinal round at the Wake Forest Invitational following a win against Ana Marhuenda/Marija Bogicevic (Marshall) … went 3-0 at the Spartan Classic Invite with victories against UNCG, Presbyterian and Campbell ... Spring: Competed in two matches and won both contests with Bygrave against Savannah State and North Carolina Central.Â
2017
Singles – Fall: Competed in seven matches in the fall including the 2016 International Tennis Association (ITA) Division I Women’s Regional Championship in the Round of 64 and Consolation Round … Spring: Won a career-high six victories in her second season while playing primarily the 1-2 in the lineup … five of her wins came in the two spot … notched back-to-back victories against North Carolina Central (3/9) and Grand Canyon (3/11) … picked up a three-set win over Georgia Southern after falling down a set in the thrilling 4-3 win.
Doubles: -- Fall: Participated in matches at the Pirate Invitation, Elon Fall Invitational and the Division I Regional Championships against then-No. 15 Duke with Melissa Machado … Spring: Notched a pair of wins against UNC Asheville (1/29) and North Carolina Central (3/4) with Machado as the No. 3 duo in both victories.
2016
Singles: Fall: Didn’t compete in the fall: Spring: Posted four wins to tie for the third highest win total on the squad ... three of her victories where in the five spot ... won her first collegiate contest against Emory’s Daniela Lopez (2/27) ... went 2-1 over her last four matches of the seaon, including a win over Jenna Brunner of Davidson to end the regular season (4/16).
Doubles: Fall: Didn’t participate in the fall season: Spring: Competed in four matches ... won her first and only doubles match with fellow freshman Devin Knors against North Carolina Central’s Lynsey Cover/Tamara Jeremic (4/3).
High School: Attended Cypress Lake High School where she played her tennis under Alex Hermeto and Mike Baugh ... Was named the Most Valuable Player on the team ... Finshed undefeated in districts as the No. 1 on the squad.
