BOONE, N.C. — App State Wrestling standouts
Tomas Brooker and
Stephan Monchery have earned All-SoCon recognition, while the SoCon All-Freshman Team includes
Jarvis Little,
Colt Campbell and
Cooper Foster.
Brooker and Monchery, SoCon champions as true freshmen in 2024 and 2025, respectively, both went unbeaten in conference duals this season.
The 21st-ranked Brooker returned from a 2024-25 injury and is 23-8 overall after going 7-0 in SoCon duals at 184 pounds. Monchery has a 20-6 overall record in the heavyweight division after going 8-0 in SoCon duals. He has a national RPI ranking of No. 23.
Brooker and Monchery helped headline a team that went 7-1 in SoCon duals and earned a share of the league's regular season title.
A first-year starter as a redshirt freshman, Little is ranked No. 32 by the NCAA Coaches with a 19-12 overall record after posting a 5-3 record in SoCon duals.
App State starts two true freshmen in Campbell, who went 4-2 in SoCon duals at 174 pounds, and Foster, who had a 4-4 record in SoCon duals at 125 pounds.
App State's 2025-26 season is presented by Hungry Howie's and Penn Station. The SoCon Championship tournament will be held Friday and Saturday in Asheville.
