BOONE, N.C. – App State currently boasts 10 football alums on NFL rosters, headlined by the trio of starters: Akeem Davis-Gaither, Sam Martin and Ryan Neuzil.

Sam Martin – Carolina Panthers (P)
Against the Atlanta Falcons, Martin had three punts, landing two inside the 20 with a long of 50. He netted 46.7 punt yards along with being the holder on the game-winning field goal in a 30-27 win.
Ryan Neuzil – Atlanta Falcons (OL)
Starting at center, Neuzil played 100% of the offensive snaps against the Carolina Panthers. He recorded a fumble recovery in the game, and has not allowed a single sack in 577 offensive snaps this season.
Akeem Davis-Gaither – Arizona Cardinals (LB)
Starting against the San Francisco 49ers, Davis-Gaither recorded four total tackles. He played in 75% of defensive plays, along with action in nine special teams plays.
D'Marco Jackson – Chicago Bears (LB)
Jackson saw action against the Minnesota Vikings, assisting on one tackle on special teams in the 19-17 win.
Kendall Lamm – Miami Dolphins (OL)
Lamm saw action against Washington Commanders in the 16-13 win, appearing in four special teams plays.
Nick Hampton — Los Angeles Rams (OLB)
Playing in eight defensive snaps and 17 special teams snaps, Hampton recorded one tackle in the 21-19 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
Tyrek Funderburk — Minnesota Vikings (CB)
Funderburk was signed by the Vikings after a stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sept. 11.
Shemar Jean-Charles — Seattle Seahawks (CB)
Jean-Charles was signed to the Seattle Seahawks practice squad in late August.
Cooper Hodges – Jacksonville Jaguars (OL)
Hodges remains on injured reserve while recovering from a knee injury suffered last season.
Jalen McLeod — Jacksonville Jaguars (LB)
McLeod, who played three seasons at App State, is on the injured reserve list due to a lower-body injury suffered in practice in August but will be eligible to return later in the season.
