BOONE, N.C. — App State's
Kaedin Robinson has been named to the preseason watch list for the 2024 Biletnikoff Award, which goes to college football's most outstanding receiver.
The Tallahassee Quarterback Club (TQC) Foundation, Inc. is the Florida-based creator and sponsor of the award. Fred Biletnikoff, a member of the pro and college football halls of fame, was a consensus All-America receiver at Florida State University and an All-Pro receiver for the Oakland Raiders.
Last season, Robinson tied for the Sun Belt lead with 10 touchdown receptions while catching 67 passes for 905 yards. Despite playing in a downpour to end the season, he had eight catches for a career-high 118 yards in the Cure Bowl victory, with seven catches for 107 yards in the first half alone.
Robinson had four 100-yard receiving games in 2023 and ended the regular season with six touchdowns over the last four games. He finished with the most single-season receiving yards by an App State player in the FBS era, and his 10 touchdown grabs were the most by a Mountaineer since 2018.
