BOONE, N.C. — App State Football currently has a Sun Belt-high 14 football alums on NFL rosters. Three of them — Buffalo Bills teammates Sam Martin, Darrynton Evans and Jalen Virgil — participated in a video to raise awareness and support for the recovery efforts related to Hurricane Helene.

Martin averaged 50.1 yards on eight punts, with a long kick of 63 yards and five punts inside the 20, during Buffalo's loss to Houston.
He had a 55-yard punt to the 8, a 63-yard punt to the 2, a 41-yard punt to the 8, a 59-yard punt to the 13 and a 33-yard punt downed at the 12. He unleashed a 56-yard punt from the back of his end zone in the final 15 seconds of a tie game.

Neuzil again started at center for the Falcons, playing all 87 snaps in a 36-30 overtime win against Tampa Bay. He also appeared on nine special teams plays as a blocker.
AKEEM DAVIS-GAITHER | LB | Cincinnati Bengals
Davis-Gaither tackled quarterback Lamar Jackson for a 2-yard loss and also had a special teams stop for the Bengals in their 41-38 overtime loss to Baltimore. He played 26 percent of the defensive snaps and 86 percent of the special teams snaps.
D'MARCO JACKSON | LB | New Orleans Saints
Jackson made three defensive tackles while appearing on 21 percent of the defensive plays and had one special teams stop while playing 62 percent of those snaps in a loss to Kansas City on Monday Night Football.

Lamm blocked on special teams during Miami's 15-10 win against New England.
COOPER HODGES | OL | Jacksonville Jaguars
Hodges blocked on special teams during Jacksonville's 37-34 win against Indianapolis.
