Mountaineer Talk Set to Return August 29

BOONE, N.C. — Presented by UNC Health Blue Ridge, App State's weekly Mountaineer Talk radio show will make its 2023-24 return Aug. 29, in advance of the Sept. 2 football opener against Gardner-Webb at Kidd Brewer Stadium. The show will be hosted live at its new location – Rivers Street Ale House in Boone.
 
Mountaineer Talk shows featuring head football coach Shawn Clark, host Adam Witten and guests are scheduled to air primarily on Tuesday nights this fall from 7-8 p.m., on the Appalachian Sports Network from Learfield radio affiliates. Mountaineer Talk will also be video streamed live at the time of its recording on App State's Facebook Live platform at Facebook.com/AppStateFootball and App State Athletics' YouTube page, and live audio will be available online at appstatesports.com.
 
Fans can also use the App State Athletics App or The Varsity Network app from Learfield as a free way to listen to the show live. Fans can access the show on demand through the Nothin' But An App State Podcast channel.
 
Mountaineer Talk will be presented in-person in 2023-24 to a live audience at Rivers Street Ale House, located at 957 Rivers St, Boone, NC 28607, just down the road from the heart of campus.
 
In addition to attending the show, fans can ask questions and interact with Witten, Clark and guests during each broadcast.
