RALEIGH, N.C. --
Dwayne Lillie and
Michael Flanagan got the weekend underway for App State men's track & field by competing in the 5,000-meter run at the Raleigh Relays on Thursday evening.
The race featured over 120 runners from Division I schools all across the nation.
Lillie finished with a time of 14:44.22 and Flanagan crossed in a PR time of 14:53.57. Currently, Lillie's time ranks third in the Sun Belt and Flanagan's sits fifth in the conference.
App State will see two more compete at the Raleigh Relays this weekend, with
Isaac Benz running in the 10,000-meter run at 9:25 p.m. on Friday and
Ryan Brown taking part in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
The rest of the Mountaineers will compete at the Weems Baskin Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
