BOONE, N.C. — Denver Broncos punter and App State alum Sam Martin's strong game was a highlight in Week 8 of the NFL season.
Martin averaged 45.0 yards on three punts, with all three landing inside the 10, in Denver's 17-10 win against Washington. He had a 44-yard punt to the 5, a 48-yard punt that was fair-caught at the 8 and a 43-yard punt that was fair-caught at the 6.
Martin ranks second in the NFL with 18 punts inside the 20 this season.
