Women's Tennis Finishes 10th in Helper Helper Community Service

BOONE, N.C. - App State women's tennis finished 10th in the 2020 NCAA Team Works Helper Helper Community Service Competition among women's tennis programs.

The Mountaineers are one of three Sun Belt schools with Louisiana and Georgia Southern to rank in the top 10 while joining Big Ten schools Michigan and Rutgers.

"It's an honor to make the Helper Helper's Top 10 list for community service," head coach Blake Mosley said. "We have a moral obligation to give back to our community and our team truly enjoys it. It's also great to see four other teams (including the men's programs) with their community service."

The Apps had a 100 percent participation and worked with such organizations as the Human Society of Watauga County and Samaritan's Purse.
