App State played last on Feb. 1, defeating Campbell in a 6-1 at home. The Mountaineers captured their first win and the ninth straight win at home. Appalachian captured the doubles point and five of six singles matches for the victory. Three student-athletes claimed singles and and doubles wins in

Pisareva Ranked
For the first time since the ITA rankings were established,
Sasha Pisareva cracked the ITA singles rankings, checking in at No. 48. Her two Power Five wins, including a win over then-No. 18 Anna Rogers helped her become the only player in the Sun Belt to earn a national ranking.
Wins Leaders
After Pisareva's 3-0 mark, four athletes have one singles victory. Kate Earnhart, Zacarias, Poggi and Zacarias all capture their first win against Campbell last week. In doubles, Poggi/Anglesjö are 2-1 while Zacarias and McLay are 1-1.
Scouting UNCG
The Spartans are 1-3 this season and on a three-match skid following a 4-3 loss at ECU. Two of their three losses have been decided by one point, while the lone win came in the season opener against UNCW, 5-2. The Spartans are 13-11 in ingles with Sophia Adams, Erika Barquero and Brianna Gomez boasting a 3-1 mark. In doubles, Hannah Giddings/Barquero are 3-1, making the tandem the only doubles pairing with a win as UNCG is 3-9 overall.

App State will travel to Wilmington, N.C. for a 1 p.m. matchup on Saturday against UNCW.
