About the Mountaineers
App State is coming off an 84-59 setback to Virginia Tech on Friday in Blacksburg, Va. Brooke Bigott scored a personal-high 17 points with four of her six field goals coming from 3-point range. Pre Stanley also poured in 17 points while leading the team with six off the glass. Faith Alston came off the bench to dish out a team and career-best seven assists, which are the most assists for a freshman since 2009-10 (Anna Freeman).

A Win Would
- Give the Apps a 3-1 mark to the season.
- Give the Apps their fourth straight home victory dating back to last season.
- Improve to 30-20 all-time against Davidson.
- Drop Davidson's record to 1-4. 

Bigott from Deep
The junior is 10-of-18 from 3-point land this season, shooting 55.6 percent. Bigott is tied for 11th in the nation in 3-point field goal percentage with at least 15 attempts. The Katy, Texas native is also tied for first in the Sun Belt in 3-pointers per game and trifectas made. 

Gosnell and Porter on the Glass
The senior tandem of Lainey Gosnell and Michaela Porter are the top rebounding duo in the Sun Belt, as Gosnell's 9.3 rebounds per game (6th) and Porter's 9.0 rebounds per game (7th) gives the pair 18.3 rebounds per game. 

Five Things to Watch
- Watch if App State can take advantage of Davidson's turnovers, as opponents are averaging 23.6 points off turnovers in their wins. 
- The Mountaineers are averaging 17.3 offensive rebounds through the first three games. See if the Apps can continue their success on the glass on the offensive end. 
- See if App State can get off to a fast start against its counterpart on Friday, as opponents have outscored Davidson by 24 in the first period (even the final three quarters).
- Davidson has allowed 27 3-pointers over the last two contests with opponents shooting almost 40 percent from deep. Watch if the Black and Gold can hit from 3-point range. The Mountaineers are coming off a season-high 10 trifectas at Virginia Tech.

- The Wildcats were finished to pick fourth in the Atlantic 10 Conference.
- Welch leads the team in scoring, pouring in 19.8 points per game. Gould is second, averaging 14.5 ppg. 
- Six players pull down at least 4.0 rpg while Konstans is registering 8.0 rebounds per game. 
- The Wildcats put up 28 3-point attempts per contest. 

Series History
The Mountaineers are 29-20 all-time against the Wildcats, boasting a 13-9 mark at home. App State is 3-1 over the last four contests, including a thrilling 81-78 at Davidson in 2018-19.
