BOONE, N.C. -- Appalachian State women's track & field will continue its outdoor season on Friday and Saturday, competing at the Raleigh Relays and Pepsi Florida Relays.
PEPSI FLORIDA RELAYS
The Black and Gold will send a group of athletes to Gainesville to compete in the Pepsi Florida Relays. The Mountaineers will compete in three events on Friday and one on Saturday:
RALEIGH RELAYS
App State will have a handful of athletes competing at the Raleigh Relays at N.C. State. Friday's field events begin at 9 a.m. with the 5,000-meter run, with field events starting at 10 a.m. with the shot put and high jump. On Saturday, running begins of Saturday at 11:20 a.m. with he 4x1500-meter relay, with field beginning at 9:45 a.m. with the hammer.
NCAA EAST REGIONAL RANKINGS
The NCAA East Regional Championships take place in Jacksonville, Fla. from May 23 to May 25. The top 48 individuals in each event and top 24 relay teams qualify for the regional. The Mountaineers currently have five individuals ranked in the top-75 in the region across three events.

The Mountaineers will be idle next weekend and will compete again at the Charlotte Invitational on Apr. 12 and Apr. 13.
