BOONE, N.C. — Walk-on tryouts for the Appalachian State football team will be held on Thursday, Feb. 21, at 6 a.m. in the Sofield Family Indoor Practice Facility.
App State students interested in trying out must have all the required paperwork (a completed physical, a sickle cell blood test, proof of insurance) turned in via an email to director of player personnel

blaylockac@appstate.edu by 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 20.
If all of the paperwork is not turned in by then, the student will not be permitted to try out.
Tryout candidates should wear athletic apparel and bring cleats.
