BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University women's tennis continues the fall campaign today and tomorrow with the Jimmy Powell Invitational hosted by Elon.
App State will compete against Elon, Davidson, and Winthrop in the two-day event. Both days will begin with doubles action before turning to singles play.Â
The Mountaineers coming off a successful Hokie Fall Invite last weekend, where App recorded 20 wins across singles and doubles action highlighted by victories against the hosts in VT, Penn State, Iowa State and West Virginia. Â

App returns six of nine letterwinners from last season's 11-11 squad that won its first-ever Sun Belt Tournament over then-No. 10 seed Texas State. Its six-win improvement was tied for the largest increase in the Sun Belt.Â
