BOONE, N.C. – The Appalachian State Football Team, the 2016 Sun Belt and Camellia Bowl Champions, will be honored at halftime of Saturday's men's basketball game against Georgia State at the Holmes Center. Prior to the men's game, the Mountaineers will sign autographs on commemorative Camellia Bowl posters in the concourse of the arena.

The doubleheader with Georgia State begins at 1 p.m. as the women take on Georgia State in their #Play4Kay game. Tipoff of the men's game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. One ticket is good for both games of the doubleheader.
The Mountaineers went 10-3 in 2016, claiming their first Sun Belt Championship with a 7-1 record in conference play. App went on to win the Camellia Bowl for the second straight season with a dramatic 31-28 win over Toledo.
Spring practice is underway. The Mountaineers will hold their third practice on Friday evening and go again on Saturday morning before the basketball game.
