BOONE, N.C. — A limited number of spots remain for Appalachian State University's annual Football 101/201 event, which is set for Thursday at Kidd Brewer Stadium and the Appalachian Athletics Center.
Football 101/201, Appalachian State University's ultra-popular football event for individuals over the age of 21, returns for its 12th year.
Head coach Scott Satterfield and his staff host the event which takes fans inside the locker room, figuratively and literally, with a panel discussion during dinner, multiple “class” offerings, on-field “drills” and more. Novice football fans learn the basics in Football 101 while more experienced fans or those that have attended Football 101 in the past delve deeper into the playbook in Football 201.
Football 101/201 costs just $35 per participant, which includes dinner in the end zone on the Kidd Brewer Stadium field (weather permitting), open bar, gift bag and free chair massages by Heavenly Spa. The event is open to fans ages 21 and over and runs from 6-9:30 p.m.
Registration is open now. Fans are encouraged to register as soon as possible as space is limited and the event traditionally sells out quickly. To register, call Appalachian State athletics promotions and fan engagement at (828) 262-8649 or click HERE for a downloadable registration form.
