MONTREAT, N.C. – Appalachian State University men's cross country sent two runners to compete at the Hyder-McMahill Invitational on Saturday.

Both Chris Kelly and Tyler Sink ran for the Mountaineers. Kelly placed sixth overall with a time of 27:51, while Sink ran a time of 28:31.

App State will return to action next Saturday, Sept. 20 when is travels to Rock Hill, S.C. for the Winthrop Open.
