Appalachian State University men's soccer will finally play its home opener this Friday, Sept. 12 at Appalachian Soccer Stadium when it hosts Presbyterian. Kick off is set for 7 p.m. following the women's game against Belmont.

• Matthew McManis leads the team in scoring with two goals – both of which came in the win against Wofford.
• Goalkeeper Johnny Archer has seen the bulk of the playing time thus far and has recorded a 2.15 goals against average with 13 saves and a .765 save percentage.

• The first win of the season for the men's soccer program will mark it's 425th all-time dating back to the 1962 season.
