BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State University men's soccer will wrap up its preseason schedule on Saturday when it travels to High Point. Kick off is set for 7 p.m.
Thus far, the Mountaineers have won both of their preseason contests by final scores of 2-1 over both UNC Asheville and Campbell.
Stephen Chapman has led the App State offense with two goals in two games. Mason McCarter and Ben Steen have also scored for the Mountaineers in both exhibitions.
Following the game on Saturday, Appalachian will have almost a week before the regular season kicks off in Harrisonburg, Va. on Friday against Albany and Sunday against Vermont in the James Madison Invitational.
The first home date for the Mountaineers will be Friday, Sept. 12 at 7:30 p.m. The match is part of a doubleheader with the women's soccer team who plays Belmont at 4 p.m.
