Detroit Lions second-year punter/kicker Sam Martin completed the first two passes of his career on fake punts, including a 24-yarder to Jed Collins on fourth-and-six, in the Lions' 20-16 win over Miami. In addition to his perfect passing performance, Martin also averaged 45.7 yards over three punts, including one downed inside the 20-yard line and a game-long 59-yarder.
Jacksonville Jaguars second-year defensive back Demetrius McCray started at cornerback and tied for the team lead with five tackles and recorded two pass deflections in the Jaguars' 31-17 loss to the Cowboys at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
New Orleans Saints third-year running back Travaris Cadet rushed twice for nine yards and caught three passes for 18 yards in the Saints' 27-24 overtime loss to San Francisco. Cadet also returned four kickoffs for 96 total yards, highlighted by a 24-yarder.
San Francisco 49ers fourth-year offensive lineman Daniel Kilgore (leg) and St. Louis Rams third-year wide receiver Brian Quick (shoulder) sustained season-ending injuries in October.
Detroit Lions rookie wide receiver Andrew Peacock, Carolina Panthers third-year wide receiver/defensive back DeAndre Presley and Jacksonville Jaguars rookie wide receiver Tony Washington are currently on their teams' respective practice squads.
