BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State University football has named senior quarterback Jamal Londry-Jackson, senior wide receiver Andrew Peacock, senior place kicker Drew Stewart, senior wide receiver Tony Washington and junior defensive lineman Ronald Blair team captains for the 2013 season.

The five captains were selected in a team-wide vote. Londry-Jackson is a captain for the second-straight season while Peacock, Stewart, Washington and Blair are in the role for the first time.

In just nine days, the newly appointed team leaders and the rest of the Mountaineers open the 2013 campaign with a much-anticipated showdown at Montana. Kickoff is set for Aug. 31 at 9 p.m. ET and can be seen live on ESPN3.
